Slow Release Fertilizers SRF

They release the nutrients of which they are composed gradually over time, melting slowly once in contact with the moist soil

This category includes:

  • NITROPHOSKA ORIGINAL GOLD 15-9-15
It is a balanced NPK complex fertilizer, containing ready-made nitrogen (nitric and ammoniacal) to meet initial needs, and slow-release nitrogen (ISODUR technology) which constitutes a prolonged reserve in the soil.
In the soil the molecule isodur absorbs water and through hydrolytic processes frees nitrogen, water and carbon dioxide. Then it is transformed into ammoniacal nitrogen and then nitric, which is assimilated by plants. This process takes 3-4 months.
Nitrophoska gold has the lowest salinity index of all nitrogen fertilizers, thus avoiding damage to crops due to an excessive concentration of salts in the soil.
It is particularly indicated in the autumn and spring fertilization of plants in nurseries, vines, fruit plants, horticultural, flower, etc.
  • TRIABON 16-8-12
It is an NPK mineral fertilizer rich in microelements that contains about 70% of slow-release nitrogen (CROTODUR technology). The crotodur molecule in the soil is transformed into the ammoniacal and then nitric nitrogen form, more easily assimilated by plants.
The release of nitrogen components occurs by microbiological degradation and physico-chemical hydrolysis. A combination of two processes that allows this fertilizer to maintain its characteristics of slow release in any environmental condition, without any influence from the pH, it is also effective even at low temperatures.
Triabon finds the best position in the reconciming of the cover of the pots.
The release of the molecule Crotodur ensures the nutrition of plants for 12-16 weeks but the initial development of the plant is guaranteed by the remaining part of nitrogen and ready-made elements, ideal also to correct the nutritional intake of plants close to the expedition.
Triabon, however, is also used mixed with the growing substrate as a basic fertilization of new plants and repottings.
  • NITROPHOSKA TWIN 10-5-20
Nitrophoska twin combines the technology of triabon and nitrophoska gold.
With crotodur the complete release occurs by microbial and hydrolytic action, while with isodur occurs exclusively by hydrolysis regardless of the microbial activity of the soil.
Nitrophoska twin, thanks to this double process of mineralization, ensures a constant release of nitrogen (3-4 months) in all conditions of temperature, humidity and soil.

FERTILIZZANTI A CESSIONE CONTROLLATA – CRF Fertilizers in which the release of nutrients is controlled, according to the type of membrane with which they are coated and depending on a certain temperature. This category includes the OSMOCOTE line:

Available in various titrations and durations, to be mixed with soil or cover. Each granule is wrapped in an organic resin membrane. Water penetrates the granule through the lining membrane and dissolves the nutrients. These are given in a controlled way by the action of osmotic pressure. The raw materials of fertilizers and the thickness of the coating are the components that determine the durability.

Examples are:

OSMOCOTE PRO, OSMOCOTE EXACT, OSMOCOTE TOPDRESS.
